Friday was the Kansas City Royals home opener against the New York Yankees. Since Madison did not have school, we decided it would be great to have a family day at Kauffman Stadium (the K). We were anxious to see the "new" stadium. There were many renovations that occurred at the stadium- new seats, party deck, Slugger's areas (for kids), etc. We were really impressed with the amount of entertainment and the great view. The weather was decent..upper 50's to 60. Our seats were within the new area called Fountain Pavilion- Section 202. Madison had a great time, clapped forAlex Gordon (former Husker) and lasted until the 5th inning. We were very pleased.
Once we got home, we were all tuckered out. Madison is showing you that she is #1. Maybe if I hold up the #1, it will change my position. We'll it's worth a try....
