Catch-up...

Darin was traveling the earlier part of the week and things went well for him.
For me another story. On Monday, I received a call from school and they said Madison had a rash all over her arms and feet. So, instead of taking her to ER, I took her to Children's Mercy Urgent Care. I am pleased that they use Cerner solutions and most importantly we were in and out in 45 minutes. It appears that Madison just had a viral rash, it will take its course, nothing to do. By Wednesday it was almost gone. I thought maybe the rash was due to the table food she has been eating....HOTDOGS.....On Wednesday, Madison was able to celebrate one of her classmates birthdays just like her other classmates. Okay, yes I was the mom (a month ago), that said Madison could have a cupcake, with NO frosting. Oh my let the drama begin, Madison tried scrapping off what she was hoping was frosting, but just the top of the cupcake. So this week, I gave in an said frosting was okay. Madison loved it, I barely saw any crumbs anywhere. And I am pleased to report that she did not have a sugar high.

We're looking forward to the weekend, as we have some friends and their two girls from New Jersey meeting up with us.
