It's a boy

We found out a few hours ago that we are having a boy. First picture and it was right there... no question.

No it's time to start getting the room together and scheduling our 3-d appointment.

It's a Boy or It's a Girl! We know it's not Two...

Tomorrow I have a sonogram and Darin and I are hoping we will be able to find out the sex of our baby. Hopefully little one will cooperate and we won't just be mooned.

Well we have been told the following:
According to the Chinese Birth Chart, it say a Boy.
According to my co-workers, since I am carrying low, it's a Boy.
According to my previous craving of bubble-gum, it's a Girl.
According to Chinese Fortune Calendar, it's a Girl.

All I know, it's going to be double trouble. Madison will have a partner in crime.

Little Miss Independent

Madison is now in a new routine at school. When we enter the secured doors of her school, she wants me to let her down so she can walk herself. She walks right up to all of the stuffed animals (tiger, polar bear, bear and elephant). She "pats" them nicely (we're still working on that) and hugs them. Once all of them feel the love, she leads the way and walks to her classroom, head up and very confident. Then when we enter through her two doors of the classroom, she grabs her chair and sits at the table for breakfast. She allows me to wash her hands, but that is it. I tell her goodbye and she just starts eating. Once she hears me close the 1/2 door, then she blows kisses goodbye. She is becoming Miss Independent.

Here is her love of BOOKS!!

A new puppy

On Saturday, Darin and I took Madison to Prairie Village where we ended up at Mady and Me. Little did we know we would end up with a puppy as well. When Madison saw the puppy she squealed and giggled with delight. She would not let the puppy go. The store owner just laughed and thought it was cute. So of course, Mom and Dad could not disappoint her. I've decided to call the new puppy "pinks." See how happy Madison is with "pinks."

Date Night

On Saturday night, Darin and I attended a Hawaiian Luau at St. James Parish. There was a silent and live auction in which proceeds benefited the school and our church. Lucky for Darin it was unlimited drinks...alcoholic drinks and for me unlimited Ozark water.. wahoooooo... We went with another couple and had a reserve table for the night. It was a great event. We ate, drank, laughed, dressed up in Hawaiian gear (just like being on a cruise) and spent some money. We are already making our plans for next years event.
Unfortunately we missed the big Husker game. However, Darin and I decided maybe it was best if we were at church!

Halloween Night

On Halloween, we took Madison trick-or-treating around our cul-de-sac. She decided to take a break and sit on the neighbors porch. Then she met a cute dinosaur who wanted to give her some candy.

CernerKids Halloween Parade

On Thursday, October 29, Madison's school- CernerKids had a Halloween Parade in the gym. Parents brought treats for the kids, while the kids walked around and showed off their costumes. I was super excited for this parade. Darin and I strategically positioned ourselves in the gym away from the door. We knew the kiddos were going to enter through the first door and we knew if Madison saw us right away she would run towards us. Well it was 3:45pm and it was time for Silly Seals (Madison's classroom) to enter the gym. Madison led the group. Initially I think she was shocked by all of the parents. Then she saw us... and yes let the running begin.
There were three ladybugs in the Silly Seal classroom (Anna, Charlotte and Madison).
